 She was all alone, so she did what she always did &n-; she danced. She danced for joy, she danced for strength, she danced for sorrow, she danced for weariness. She danced because she didn&';t know what else to do.
She was all alone. They had all left her. A few at a time, they had left her. Even her own parents had left her. She had known they would leave, yet when they had all left and she was all alone, she couldn&';t believe it. She had hoped against hope that they wouldn&';t leave. She had lied to herself, telling herself that they would stay.
So, she danced. It was what she did. She was after all, The Dancer. At some point, she supposed, she should get something to eat. Yet even while she was eating she would dance.

Book Club Info

Book Clubs and other Reading Groups, welcome! Let me know if you&';re looking for a particular type of book or a book on a particular subject. I&';m in the process of creating video trailers for most of my books. If one of those is available for a book that you would like to read, I would be happy to send you that link to get you started. If I can get to your Book Club by bus from Kailua, HI, I&';m happy to come to your book club and give an in-person introduction. Otherwise, perhaps I could meet with you over Zoom. I check most of my books to ensure that all of the chapters are relatively the same length (No guarantees on that on Reference Books). That will help you find good stopping points to ask questions.

You can probably figure out your own reading questions. I offer the list below to get you started.
What do you think of each Character that was introduced or who changed in what you read today?
What Character do you relate to most? Why?
What character would you most like to get to know better
What is happening now? Was that unexpected?
Did you find anything to be humorous, happy, sad, mysterious, intriguing?
What puzzled you or made you do a double-take?
What was memorable?
